Screens

The Screens dialog is where you can add, remove, arrange, preview, export and configure all of the screens you want to show during the patching of your application.

Tip: You can also configure a project theme for your patch that you can apply to all of the screens without configuring each screen manually. You can configure the project theme by choosing Project > Settings... from the program menu and selecting the Theme tab. Themes are very much like "skins" for your patch. If you'd like to create your own themes, see Screen Dimensions and How Screens Are Drawn for some useful information.

The Screens dialog consists of the Before Patching, the Progress and the After Patching. These represent the three different times during the patching process when screens can be shown.

At run time, the screens are displayed in the same order as they're listed on these tabs.

Screen text can also be translated for each language that is supported by your patch. A language selector can be found on the Settings tab of each screen's properties dialog so you can quickly translate this text.

To access the Screens dialog, choose Project > Screens... from the program menu.
